Today, I learned...
- ... that freshmen boys (or most teenagers, for that matter) do not have very good attention spans. I like to think of myself as an exception to this, but it was quite obvious that my freshies follow this rule. We spent about four hours today working on robotics. Towards the end, all of the boys were getting fidgety. Little was getting accomplished (except by myself. I am relatively immune to them.).
- ... that I get cranky when my clothes are not organized. I have a very specific system in my closet. The back rack is dresses and skirts. The dresses are divided by sleeve length. The front rack is jackets, pants, and shirts. The jackets and pants are divided by sleeve length; the pants are divided by length. I have the rest of my shirts in drawers. They are divided by solid color or pattern. Then there is a dress drawer, an under shirt drawer (sleeve length AND solid vs. pattern), and a bathing suit/apron drawer. My t-shirts (mostly from school) are divided into what activity they are from. Super organized. And that's just the clothes! Well, I dragged my winter clothes in from the attic and they were all vomited onto the floor. Needless to say, meh!
Well that second one up there was long winded. Regional XC tomorrow! G'night.
